this article is linked with articles on coins eg. the US "dime", which have a cupronickel "cladding"...
edit...but the article is not very helpful regarding coin cladding at all. Can anyone help? ROxBo 03:39, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
- I can't be sure, but I would say that as with UK minted coins, the core copper is cleaned and prepared and the cupronickel cladding is then roll bonded to the core material. I can't say how much material is used but because plastic deformation takes place the raw materials will no doubt be thicker than the finished result.--Lead holder (talk) 08:59, 7 December 2011 (UTC)
