Development of article subject with regards to past tense.
editI have reverted @TheTechyOne's article wide update to use past tense (https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=ClamTk&oldid=1226273084) not only because ClamTk ongoing development is ambiguous (the developer doesn't rule out resuming development), but also because 'not maintained' is not equivelent to non-existance. For instance, ClamTK still has all the described features, maintained or not, and regardless of the developers decision to retire, the software is still widely distributed and in use. - Incase anyone isn't aware (like myself 20mins ago), MOS:PRESENT covers this convention.
- "Always use present tense for verbs that describe genres, types, and classes, even if the subject of the description (e.g. program, library, device) no longer exists, is discontinued, or is unsupported/unmaintained." (emphasis added) James Bateaux (talk) 16:04, 28 July 2024 (UTC)
