Fair use rationale for Image:Hall Seal.jpg
editImage:Hall Seal.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
Is Clan Hall an official Scottish Clan?
editConfirmation, in the form of reliable references, is needed to place Clan Hall as a Scottish clan (Electric Scotland is not a reliable source). I note that Clan hall has a tent (block 50) at the Gathering 2009, so, given the semi official status of this event within the clan world, I think it wise to give Clan Hall the benefit of the doubt. However, if no confirmation and references can be found, Clan Hall may be a candidate for a proposed deletion. Yours ever, Czar Brodie (talk) 09:34, 22 July 2009 (UTC)
Brooksbank family sold largest property or estate in England
editThis property belongs to the clan Hall and probably why she or lyon doesn't accept clan Hall.Wentworth Woodhouse, England I believe is the main property that belongs the clan Hall there are or was court cases all of which is public record for seeking such information but anyone looking for confirmation of Scottish clans using Lord lyon and the British Crown for confirmation of Scottish clans might not have much luck. As far as our rights English property see Fitzgerald and their relationship when he took the surname Hall as a sign of endearment and respect. Also see Milton Hall and other such properties.Which belonged to Clan Hall Fitzgerald's all I remember is the one Feller did a documentary talking about the largest estate and current legal cases. I've never heard of someone so rich adopting a surname as he adopted the Hall name out of respect I've heard of many examples of the poor being adopted by the rich but this never of anything like this were a rich or royal takes on the name of his workers. 209.171.85.92 (talk) 13:36, 1 April 2023 (UTC)

Anglo-Saxon vs Scottish
editBy these standards Norman French which is Viking not French aren't Scottish so Robert the Bruce and William Wallace being OF Norman decent and the founders of Scotland are not Scottish, further when we see smaller Clans unite under larger clans the smaller Clans or those not accept by Lord Lyon were likely of more of the actual Scottish stock population then the larger ones and more Scottish than these larger Clans ever were. 209.171.85.92 (talk) 15:20, 1 April 2023 (UTC)
Further on the subject of Anglo vs Scottish and Klans
editThe Picts early Scots for on the topic they didn't have Concepts like art or war when they first enter the records of written history so when they later adopted concepts like living in cities and art much like written language they adopted things like Celtic and and Viking art and religions like Christianity it all comes from one source like written language and limits our originality in that sense and can seem confusing and blur the lines. 209.171.85.92 (talk) 17:59, 1 April 2023 (UTC)
