Regarding the move of this page, C. W. Watson (39%), Clarence Watson (38%), and Clarence W. Watson (22%) are the only iterations of Watson's name that constitute over 5% of references to him on newspapers.com. Per WP:INITS, a written-out name is preferable to simply initials if the written-out version is used by RS. While either Clarence Watson or Clarence W. Watson would be acceptable titles, the majority of references to him include his middle initial. Star Garnet (talk) 17:22, 16 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
