editI, James F. Andris, am the author of the page whose copyright the Clarence Woods article purportedly violates. I am the webmaster for the Friends of Scott Joplin website, and posted the Clarence Woods article as a test run for submitting it to Wikipedia. This is my first Wikipedia article, and I obviously wasn't aware of this potential conflict. I can either post the suggested lines on the FoSJ website (which I will do soon) or I can remove the article from the web.
