Zone boundary at the Clarkson Station
editFor the bus timetables that Transperth website proided (Northern 67 and 78), the Clarkson station is laid on the Zone Boundary between Zone 4 and Zone 5, and these timetables shows the evidence that is on Zone 4 / 5, and not only in Zone 4. --Shinjiman ⇔ ♨ 18:14, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
- This is correct. A journey into the suburb of Clarkson is 5 zone, to Clarkson Station is 4 zone and yet within Clarkson or from Merriwa to Clarkson Station is one zone only (i.e. as far as Transperth is concerned, does not cross a boundary). Orderinchaos78 12:36, 22 January 2007 (UTC)

Hello, I am planning on reviewing this article for GA Status, over the next couple of days. Thank you for nominating the article for GA status. I hope I will learn some new information, and that my feedback is helpful.
If nominators or editors could refrain from updating the particular section that I am updating until it is complete, I would appreciate it to remove a edit conflict. Please address concerns in the section that has been completed above (If I've raised concerns up to references, feel free to comment on things like the lede.)
I generally provide an overview of things I read through the article on a first glance. Then do a thorough sweep of the article after the feedback is addressed. After this, I will present the pass/failure. I may use strikethrough tags when concerns are met. Even if something is obvious why my concern is met, please leave a message as courtesy.
Best of luck! you can also use the {{done}} tag to state when something is addressed. Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs)
Please let me know after the review is done, if you were happy with the review! Obviously this is regarding the article's quality, however, I want to be happy and civil to all, so let me know if I have done a good job, regardless of the article's outcome.

edit- Why is this article named "Clarkson railway station, Perth", if the official name is simply "Clarkson Station"? Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 11:32, 27 April 2022 (UTC)
- I would love to have the article moved to that title, but it would take quite a bit of effort to come to consensus in a move discussion and I don't have the energy to go through that right now. Consensus would have to form to move all stations in Perth, and that includes century old stations that would have been known as "railway stations" for most of their life, which I know would be a reason for people to oppose. Another issue is that people would oppose due to that naming system going against stations in other Australian cities. Steelkamp (talk) 13:48, 27 April 2022 (UTC)
- The lede feels very WP:PROSELINEy to be. See
The first contract for the project, a $14 million earthworks contract, was awarded to Brierty Contractors in March 2001. In April 2002, Barclay Mowlem and Alstom were awarded a contract worth $17 million to design and build the extension's rail infrastructure. On 13 November 2002, it was announced that a $8.7million contract was awarded to Transfield for the construction of the station.
, could we not just say the years? We don't need to say it was announced, just the amount. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 11:32, 27 April 2022 (UTC)- Let me know if that's good enough now. Steelkamp (talk) 13:48, 27 April 2022 (UTC)
General
edit- MOS:NUM means we should be a bit more internally consistent, I see 4, but also six. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 11:38, 27 April 2022 (UTC)
- Let me know if that fix is ok. Steelkamp (talk) 13:48, 27 April 2022 (UTC)
- The station is fully accessible. - needs a cite and probably expanding. Surely there's a governing body who say if something is or not. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 11:38, 27 April 2022 (UTC)
- from Concreto - where? Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 11:38, 27 April 2022 (UTC)
- Added that Concreto is an art design and construction company. Steelkamp (talk) 13:48, 27 April 2022 (UTC)
- 44 500-by-500-millimetre - why use millimeters, and not centimeters? Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 11:38, 27 April 2022 (UTC)
- Well its what the source uses. Not sure if the MOS says anything about it, but generally millimetres are used instead of centimetres in professional contexts such as engineering, fabrication, architecture, etc, because millimetres are a factor of 1000 from a metre. For example, the dimensions of a car or a fridge would be in mm, and so too are the dimensions of a piece of art. Steelkamp (talk) 13:48, 27 April 2022 (UTC)
- Probably move the art image to the other side - on all but mobile screens it will cause the header to be indented. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 11:38, 27 April 2022 (UTC)
- Ok, done. Steelkamp (talk) 13:48, 27 April 2022 (UTC)
- .[36][37][38][39] - do we need four cites, or can we WP:BUNDLING? Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 11:38, 27 April 2022 (UTC)
- I've decided to remove the two cites that make the least mention of Clarkson station. Steelkamp (talk) 13:48, 27 April 2022 (UTC)
- Perth-bound services use platform 1 and Butler-bound services use platform 2. - uncited. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 11:38, 27 April 2022 (UTC)
- I decided to remove as it is not very important. Steelkamp (talk) 13:48, 27 April 2022 (UTC)

edit- I'll begin the review as soon as I can! If you fancy returning the favour, I have a list of nominations for review at WP:GAN and WP:FAC, respectively. I'd be very grateful if you were to complete one of these if you get time. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 14:26, 26 April 2022 (UTC)
