Claude Abadie was interviewed at the age of 97 by Suzy Klein in the 2017 BBC TV programme "Tunes for Tyrants: Music and Power with Suzy Klein" (Series 1: Episode 3).
He discussed playing clarinet in the Paris jazz scene during World War II. He played a few phrases on his clarinet and a photo was shown of him playing clarinet in front of a band back in 1920 when he was 20.
