Hi @WhatamIdoing: Can you explain this edit? Removing cite templates with bare [ ] seems negative to me. Invasive Spices (talk) 20:02, 15 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Invasive Spices, we don't use citation templates in the ==External links== section. See Wikipedia:External links#External links section. WhatamIdoing (talk) 23:01, 15 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Taxonomic quirks

edit

Hi @Ninjatacoshell: Can you explain putting quotes around the Phylum? I don't think I've ever seen that before. And unlinking the former genus names seems negative to me. Invasive Spices (talk) 20:02, 15 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Invasive Spices: the quotes were because "Actinobacteria" was an unofficial name. Since then the phylum has been given an official name under the ICNP (Actinomycetota), which is currently in the taxobox. I unlinked the former genus names because I've never seen that done anywhere but in this article. Ninjatacoshell (talk) 06:00, 1 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
