Clement Woodnutt Miller, a U.S. Congressman from California from 1959-1962, was known as Clem Miller. There is a wikipedia article titled "Clement Woodnutt Miller". Clem Miller is mentioned in both the "Point Reyes National Seashore" and "King Range Wilderness" articles, but there's no indication that "Clem Miller" and "Clement Woodnutt Miller" are the same person. What is the best way to clarify the name issue? Pointreyes663 (talk) 06:12, 29 July 2010 (UTC)Pointreyes663Reply
Both of them refer to Congressmen called Clem Miller who were active at the right time, and one even mentions that he died in a plane crash in 1962. It seems unlikely to me that there are two people fitting that bill (although I haven't read the sources used, so it's possible that someone inadvertently stitched together accounts of more than one person). Do you have any reason in particular to suspect that they're not the same person? Olaf Davis (talk) 10:19, 29 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
I apologize for not making myself clear in my first post. I know for a fact that the Clem Miller referenced in the above articles is the same person as Clement W. Miller. I am new to wikipedia, and was trying to figure out how to make that clear. I decided to redirect the Clem Miller page to the Clement W. Miller article. I hope that was the correct action to take.
