edit1. WorldBank knowledge portal : yes, sadly, it is copyrighted. You can not copy paste its content. Remember than unless it is specifically licensed CC BY or CC BY SA or CCO on the web page or on the website terms page, you can not copy paste. You can use the info, but you will have to rephrase it.
I was quite frustrated to find out that this awesome portal is all copyrighted. In particular when I kept hearing from my WIPO contact that WorldBank was freely licensed. So I contacted her to ask clarification. WorldBank answered The reason for more restrictive terms for informal publications is that there is no governance mechanism in place to review the use of third-party copyrighted materials. Whereas in formal publications we, the Publishing Program, review copyright compliance carefully and make sure that (1) authors have permission to re-produce 3rd party materials in an open access work and (2) any such materials are attributed appropriately.
In short, the content on the knowledge portal comes from many sources, and in all likelihood.. some of it is copyrighted. To avoid any trouble... all of it is copyrighted. There are very few sources about climate under a free licence...
2. I think you need to improve the top part. I already added a small line, but I think it needs more. Right now, your introduction explains what Climate change is. This is not the point of this article. This is only context. In fact, the top part is not an should not be a contextual introduction, it should be a « summary ». as in « if you had 30 seconds to summarize the situation of climate change in Botswana… what would you say ? This is what you should put in the top part. Not context. It should be a summary of the Cimate Change situation in Botswana.
3. At the beginning of the section about « Botswana Climate », you could add a « see more » link that would go to Botswana. geography.
4. I suggest you use Köppen climate classification, such as I did on Climate change in Somalia. I am fairly sure there are maps for Botswana on Commons.
5. I suggest that the text that starts with Botswana is considered very vulnerable to the climate change and variability due to its low rainfall as well as the high rate of poverty that affects be moved to the section about Impact of climate change. Right now, it stand in the section about Climate.
6. I feel the sub-section about « biodiversity » is too vague.
7. I am not completely fan of the Gender section... whilst at least one source is related to Botswana, the text seems not super super specific to Botswana generally. Can you check ? and if it, perhaps be more specific ?
8. The section about "Adaptation & Mitigation » is too unspecific and biased. And not related to Botswana. It needs full rewriting.
9. Climate Finance is potentially super interesting topic. It has no references/sources though. It needs some. I also suggest that you dig into practical elements, such as law adopted by the government, committees founded, signature of global treaties etc. This would be Policies and legislation. It is not too easy to find information about those, it takes efforts and much checking, so precisely, I think it is useful to provide the info of how much a country is trying to mitigate and adapt.
