School Sports
edit- The town's athletic nickname is the Mustangs. In the past 5 years Clio football hasn't won any games. Clio Area High School offers many sports to all students. Some include track, football, baseball, volleyball, and even swimming. Clio has had success in baseball. In 2005, all three teams, (freshman, JV, and varsity) won the Metro League championship. The freshman team went undefeated. Clio has had bad luck with high school football in the last few years. Two years ago, they converted to the Flint Metro League. They only have one win since switching divisions. However, a new coaching staff and weight room may be the answer to bring winning football back to Clio.

Origin of Clio name
edit- Clio is sometimes referred to as CL10 or CL-10. It cannot be verified that this title references the city's proximity to County Line 10 and therefore explains the origin of the City's name.
Removed this. Grew up there and never heard it. The official origin is that it's named after Clio, daughter of Zeus, muse of history per the city's own web site
