editAdded the other local retail facilities for balance, and expanded amenities, moved pubs down article and removed multiple inline external links to one link in proper EL section.
Added Image of Methodist church. Any suggestions for other improvements - BulldozerD11 (talk) 20:15, 30 August 2008 (UTC)
- Might be worth mentioning that it is in the Dronfield parish. Also there must be industrial (and other?) history: there was coal mining. Does the limestone railway count as Coal Aston? Supposed original meaning of name East Farm? One other issue (I declare an interest as I live in Dronfield ;)): I think a stranger who visited Coal Aston having read this page would be very surprised to find how integrated it has become with Dronfield as housing etc has filled the land between the "bottom road" and the ridge. It should be possible to describe this without losing sight of the old core.TSRL (talk) 10:48, 22 March 2011 (UTC)
Local folklore
editIt is sad to see the local folklore of William Hale has been branded savagely as a“hoax“ on this Wikipedia. Very sad and very incriminating for these big dog Wikipedia admins, ought to be ashamed. 82.132.247.28 (talk) 15:24, 16 February 2022 (UTC)
Where has the Wikipedia gone !
editI’ve come on here and it seems most of the material is missing ! Mike.Dickard (talk) 09:06, 11 April 2022 (UTC)
- If you provided a citation proving this supposed William Hale's existence, you might not get reverted. But the evidence suggests you're merely engaged in vandalism. Dave.Dunford (talk) 11:56, 11 April 2022 (UTC)
Hi this has nothing to do with this ‘ William Hale’ you have mentioned. How very suspicious, if you look at this Wikipedia edit history you will see about 3/4 of it was cut out, what has that got to do with William Hale? Mike.Dickard (talk) 16:35, 11 April 2022 (UTC)
