Shouldn't it be "Coal mining"?
editI guess the coal itself is pretty much obscure. Anyway, thanks for the start. Ukrained2012 (talk) 03:18, 2 September 2013 (UTC)

Coal in Ukraine → Coal mining in Ukraine – article is about the mining of coal in Ukraine, not the coal itself.Qxukhgiels (talk) 21:18, 9 October 2014 (UTC) Qxukhgiels (talk) 21:18, 9 October 2014 (UTC)
- Weak oppose see Category:Coal by country. Seemingly common format. Gregkaye ✍♪ 05:43, 11 October 2014 (UTC)
- Oppose per standard format. Also, reserves and consumption are not mining, so the current title fits better. Beagel (talk) 15:07, 12 October 2014 (UTC)

Weasel words
edit"Coal mining is an important industry in Ukraine," is sufficiently inspecific as to be indefensible. The nation cannot mine enough coal to support its own needs. It cannot operate its mines profitably. The truth is that coal mining in Ukraine is a government jobs program, not an industry. It may have been an important industry, but not in the present tense.
