Dubious
editLooking at photos of this canal, I doubt very much that 7 locks raise the canal 250 feet. That would be 33 feet per lock. Derek Andrews (talk) 19:33, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
- The 250 ft quoted included the inclined planes, of which there were at least three: Drumreagh, Ballymenagh and Smith's. Note added to article. Bob1960evens (talk) 15:40, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
Route Diagram
editI have added a very basic route diagram, but cannot find any local maps to fill in details of bridges, etc. OS Getamap only has 1:250,000, Streetmap doesn't cover N Ireland, Google only has roads and no other features on its map, and the satellite images appear to be from satellites, with no aerial photography layer.
