Naval Flight Officer Badge in USCG
editThis article is inaccurate in following: the NFO badge was worn by E-2C crews stationed in St. Augustine, FL, in the 1990s ... until the Coast Guard discontinued the E2C program (1996? 1997? 1998?). I don't think it was the same badge as pictured here, but it was an NFO badge. I have an old Ancient Order of the Pterodactyl bumper sticker with the (then) three aviation badges issued: Pilot, NFO, Aircrew. I'll try to find more info before I update the page though. -- ~DBS Talk/Contribs 19:18, 22 November 2006 (UTC)
- Correction to my last, the Naval Flight Officer Badge is what was worn by Coast Guard aircrew serving in the USCG E-2 program. Was it called the "Coast Guard Flight Officer Badge?" I don't recall that it was. Any corroborating information provided by others would be helpful. TIA. ~DBS Talk/Contribs
