This article gives the impression that two august bodies have evaluated data to conclude that it is carcinogenic. This is not the case: Incorporation in Proposition 65 list is automatic following the classification by IARC as a carcinogen. 79.141.9.60 (talk) 14:35, 31 January 2013 (UTC)
Misleading Info
editAnyone who takes the time to check the source given for "safety concerns" in this article will see that Cocamide DEA is listed as a possible carcinogen in California Proposition 65, a list of WATER SAFETY concerns. In other words, they're saying that it's dangerous IF YOU DRINK IT. There's nothing in that proposition about using it topically, or about shampoo. That needs to be clarified; otherwise, it's fear mongering. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.156.9.68 (talk) 20:39, 29 August 2013 (UTC)
