I'm sorry that this article is so incomplete, but I'm busy and about to go to bed, so this is the best I could do. Could someone perhaps change the name of this page to Codename: Panzers?

Also, I didn't originally create this page, so I'm not responsible for the error.

Possible move?

edit

Should this page be moved to Codename: Panzers Phase One, or will this be an overview article (like the various series pages?) Thunderbrand 19:03, 13 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Codename: Panzers Phase One is the North American title and Codename: Panzers is the European title. I assume that as the game was made in Europe, Codename: Panzers should be the correct title for the article. I'll set up a redirect for the other one. Timkovski 20:14, 13 November 2006 (UTC)Reply
Depending on how you look at it, Codename: Panzers is the name of the series with Phase 1 and Phase 2 being the respective instalments. However, as the games aren't really significant by themselves and are quite similar, I suggest that the individual articles (and Codename: Panzers Phase III) be redirected to this main article. --Scottie theNerd 07:38, 14 November 2006 (UTC)Reply
Redirected the other two articles. We need release dates for Phase 2 for the infobox. --Scottie theNerd 16:00, 14 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Unit Section

edit

I think the unit section needs to go. It's not referenced, listy, fancruft, and unencyclopedic. If you want to add some form of a unit section beck in, make sure it is prose and referenced. Not to be cold, but that's what I see.--Clyde Miller 02:59, 14 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Agreed on the removal. I would've done it myself, but looking at it made me queasy. Might include a brief overview when I get some time, but it's much cleaner now. --Scottie theNerd 07:39, 14 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Wrong looking units

edit

Know what you are deleting before you do so, this is a very big mistake. Imagine playing game set in Vietnam War, where VietCong units wear Southern Vietnamese uniforms.

If you need verification, google up Phase II: Screenshots of YU missions, (or load up the game, since I believe you're a player) then check (linked) wiki page about chetniks, and look at the picture and info about šubaras (their hats), long beards, etc, which are obvious in the game.

Ask someone who's into WWII history and knows about this, this is common knowledge in the countries of ex-YU. Ultimately, you could go to an ex-YU wikipedia (Serbian, Croatian, Bosnian) with a screenshot and ask. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.46.224.207 (talk) 08:16, 9 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Please add in the relevant references. "Go ask someone who knows" is not how we cite sources on Wikipedia. If there are no external sources that point out the difference, it is not sigifnicant enough to be mentioned in the article. --Scottie_theNerd 10:30, 9 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Mods

edit
The mod my group made for Codename Panzers: Phase One is a legitimate mod and i see links for mods on other game pages, i feel this game should be treated no different. Why was the Mods section and link deleted?
Im going to add Mods section and link back, but this time using a no-follow tag. I do not feel this is "advertising or promotion" Look at the Quake page, there are 17 mods listed there 9 of which have links to there download page.NovaStar83 (talk) 09:56, 6 May 2008 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.72.68.221 (talk) 01:26, 13 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
