What do you all think of my colaiste chairain page?? I have to laugh at vandalism that has occurred, fortunately it has not been malicious! I am sorry about the spelling, I am mostly to blame. The school is also launching its new site soon, designed by me and mp3guy, watch out! --Duey Finster 13:58, 16 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Why is it as uncylopedic as it is? And vandalism isn't aught to be laughed at, unless you posted this page as vandalism per se, which makes you suspect, sir; if that were a true concern for you, you would have made the page uneditable by unregistered editors.
How about an Irish-language version of the page, if you are indeed serious? We do have the Irish-language Wikipedia after all.

Frankly, I don't quite see the significance of Colaiste Chiarain justifying its own page on wikipedia. Bibfile

So mark it for deletion. Besides, there is also a Coláiste Chiaráin in Croom, Co. Limerick; if this article were to stay, then one concerning that school will need to be documented too.

Fair use rationale for Image:Cclogo.gif

edit

Image:Cclogo.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Why Ciaran?

edit

Looking at the Saint Kierans, none had anything to do with Leixlip or Celbridge. Why was the the school named after any of them?86.42.219.131 (talk) 12:39, 29 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
