Different titles

I'm sure someone might point out that The Spy Who Loved Me was initially pubished in American magazines under a different title, as were a couple of Fleming's short stories, but citing Moonraker as the last occasion of an American retitling is correct because I'm referring to book publication only. ;-) 23skidoo 03:39, 17 August 2006 (UTC)

• Oppose? Guys, did you read the article? Apparently, the title is an acronym for "Children Of the Last Days". If this is so, it should be all caps, thereby expressing the double meaning. (If it's an acronym, it is not "stylistic only" - and acronyms don't have to be separated by periods, btw.) Let's resolve this the right way. I don't think it's a straightforward case at all. I don't know how you can say this...because the final sentence of the article says: "The enemy of the story is provided by a terrorist army called COLD, which stands for Children Of the Last Days." And your "widely used" comment is irrelevant. We're trying to figure out whether the title is an acronym or not - not whether it's a popular acronym! Wikkitywack (talk) 22:23, 23 February 2010 (UTC)
