Season/series

Is it not the British practice to call a year's worth of episodes "a series" (as in the first series, the second series etc.) rather than the American "season"? Avalon 07:32, 17 June 2006 (UTC)

Yes, that's right. (although some of the sattelite/cable channels are starting to refer to them as seasons - I'm sure it won't be long before the two words are interchangable). --Ladybirdintheuk 08:27, 27 June 2006 (UTC)
