I know cryotherapy is a vague term used for a lot of different procedures where ice is used as therapy and removal of dead tissues and a lot more, but it literally means applying cold according to Cold Therapy (Cryotherapy) for Pain Management - Health Encyclopedia - University of Rochester Medical Center website. For Is it time to put traditional cold therapy in rehabilitation of soft-tissue injuries out to pasture? (wjgnet.com) I realized that the citation I have put is not wrong but it is just in wrong place, I actually wanted to put it in the section where it says that prolong application of ice can cause tissue injury.
