Upon conducting a search on Baidu for the origin of cold noodles, one may come across several unreferenced articles claiming that it dates back to the Qin Dynasty. However, one particular blog has criticized the reasoning behind this assertion.
While many articles assert that cold noodles originated in the Qin Dynasty due to the presence of buckwheat records, it is important to note that these records pertain to buckwheat rather than cold noodles. Buckwheat seeds have been found dating back to the Qin Dynasty, and the first documented cultivation of buckwheat in China dates back to the 4th-6th century Tang Dynasty. Buckwheat seeds are often cited as the origin of cold noodles, but it is necessary to refer to the Qin records themselves to verify this claim.
Archaeological records indicate that buckwheat has been consumed in Japan since 2,000 BC, and seeds have been excavated.
cold noodles are made from a combination of flour, corn, and buckwheat too.
Similarly, archaeological excavations in England suggest that wheat has been had in Britain 2000years ago, but dishes made with flour, such as noodles, bread, and pizza, it would be incorrect to claim that these dishes are the origin of Celtic British cuisine.
If you have any other opinions, welcome but I think it's right to delete this way of writing. When I read Wikipedia's articles, I feel sad that many articles are written based on sinocentrism grounds sources.
When you read Wikipedia, there is virtually no evidence or evidence that is a little too biased, but it is often written as if it were true. I didn't delete it because there might be other opinions. Look at my post and give me your opinion if you don't agree. If you see my post and agree, I hope someone deletes the Origin part for a better Wikipedia contribution.
