Colfax history added
editSuggestions to add several sentences about the area to include the names of indigenous American tribes in the area. And add the history of Colfax area during the Black Hawk War of 1832. A stockade was built 5.2 miles from Colfax town now at Evergreen Cemetery in Lawndale Township. The stockade was called the Henline Stockade. A drawing of the stockade is on the Cemetery Sign.
