The article seems to have been abandoned mid-development a while before BlackJack was banned for sock-puppetry. I've had some sections I've worked on tucked away and have done some work on those today, partly to deal with some obvious errors in the military service section. I'm sure I'll make mistakes and be generally useless, but there are some other draft sections that Sarastro1, who has produced many excellent FA-quality articles but who is largely retired, that were shared with me ages ago which would probably be worth working in. They, along with some other sources I have decent access to, should mean that we can move away from a) the year by year approach to the article; b) the use of scorecards and queries as sources (we have better prose sources for nearly all of this). I have one section that is close to ready, but wanted to make sure that nobody has any pov they'd like to share first. Blue Square Thing (talk) 14:56, 18 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
