Hi,
As a long-time friend and associate of Colin Spencer I've been helping him sort his papers for his autobiography which he's currently writing. In the course of this we discovered that he had a page on Facebook which he was unaware of - that seemed to derive from the stub of an article that has appeared here up till now. He asked me to prepare a more complete article, which I've now done and posted.
