Talk:Collective Against Islamophobia in France

Latest comment: 3 years ago by Asterix757

Asterix757 the article doesn't say anything about how the NGO was financed. All references to financing in the corresponding French article leads to this Le Figaro article, where it says the organisation received 35 thousand euro from the Open Society NGO run by George Soros. Are there more sources in French on this, or could you suggest some useful search terms in French to get good search engine results? A Thousand Words (talk) 06:25, 20 December 2020 (UTC) Also, the other organisation dissolved by French authorities, Barakacity should have a standalone article. Hi 1Kwords, this source [1] already in the article talk about it  : individual benefactors, membership, dinner galas, and punctual project from foundations (such as Open Society for the RATP campaign, but which was forbidden for political and religious content, see also [2] were others details can be found about financing). I've just added the general facts. I'm not interested in creating Barakacity, it's a much more controversial entity, which hadn't the scope of CCIF, and the links to salafism seemed to be proven, along with it's founder who is currently in trial for cyberharassment. If Barakacity is a more controversial entity it should have more sources and therefore be more worthy of a standalone article than the CCIF. A Thousand Words (talk) 16:23, 20 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
I don't want to waste my time about Barakacity, I'm not interested. That's all. I wish you can understand. Asterix757 (talk) 16:42, 20 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
