Colours
editThe colours seem to be as close as possible to what I can pick up - please correct and, ideally, cite. --Philtweir (talk) 02:25, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
Rewording
editI've done quite a bit of rewording, avoiding complete removal for the moment, but a decent quantity of the 'Nature of the Colleges' section is still pretty woolly and subjective (though hopefully a little less so than originally!) --Philtweir (talk) 02:25, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
Merging and so forth
editI've done some degree of tidying up or templating on most of the college articles, in the hope that they will be expanded by contributors into less stub-like pages. While I realise that several of them have been successfully nominated for a merge a couple of years ago, this current path seems sensible given the time lapsed since and development that's taken place in some articles over three years. However, if the sparser of them don't improve then maybe merging them below in the same manner as City, Toroa and Abbey is still the best course.
In short - this page should allow the necessary mergers from a couple of years ago to take place, but ideally the articles will fully develop and it won't be an issue. Thoughts, please? --Philtweir (talk) 02:41, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
POV?
editI realise the following sentence may be considered a little subjective, even with the citation
- Since then, they have become integral to the university's character[2] and, with a combined capacity of over 3000 students, they contribute substantially to the university's provision of accommodation for new members from outside the city
However, it doesn't seem to me to be particularly controversial or to contain any particularly questionable assertions, but if anybody feels it is, please correct accordingly. Philtweir (talk) 06:16, 17 June 2010 (UTC)
