Bullets?
edit"A rare steel frame shot tower for the creation of lead bullets." Surely this should be "...lead shot." GrahamBould (talk) 06:40, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
- You are right - this should have said 'lead pellets'. Ingolfson (talk) 06:54, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
It?
edit"..., when it allowed the company to keep production levels high..." What is "it"? The government? GrahamBould (talk) 06:40, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
- "The tower remained in profitable operation until after World War II, when it allowed the company..." - what is unclear here? "It" is clearly talking about the tower. if you'd like to rephrase it somewhat, please do so. Ingolfson (talk) 06:55, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
- Aha, read it again & now it's clear. I was born in Mt Eden at the end of WWII & the tower is one of my earliest memories. My mother said there was an explosion there during the war and women were killed - any truth in that, I wonder? Cheers GrahamBould (talk) 17:07, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
- Found this but that's not a good ref, and I don't have the time right now to research it. Maybe you are interested? Ingolfson (talk) 04:19, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
