editCan anyone confirm the release date of MAD315. It's down as November 1983 but as it contains material which wasn't released until 1986, I'd guess 1986 is more likely. (Yorkshiresky 19:20, 20 May 2006 (UTC))
- Answering this is difficult because of the two identical album-names. According to the reference below, what I assume is MAD315 was released in November 1986, and only on CD. Unfortunately it only mentions the title Colourbox Mini LP without a track-listing or catalogue number. Despite the 'LP' in the title, it states that it was released on CD in Nov 86/ with no mention of any LP release - the reference usually lists all the formats of releases, e.g., LP, Cass, CD etc.
- Going on that, the correct listing may well be as follows:
Albums
edit- Colourbox (LP CAD508) - 12th August 1985
- Colourbox (mini-LP MAD315) - 7th November 1986 (CD only) - these are different albums
- Best Of 82/87 (CD GAD2107CD) - 15th October 2001
- Ref: The Official Music Master Record Catalogue 16th Edition - John Humphries (Publishing) - 1990 - ISBN 0-904520-47-1
- However, I'm a bit loathe to change the article itself in case whoever wrote the article originally had access to better data than the reference above. Ian Dunster 21:49, 18 August 2006 (UTC)
The 'mini LP' was definitely released as a record - I had it myself but unfortunately gave it away when I got the CD version, so I can't check dates / track listings / catalogue number. I think tracks 4-8 from the CD release were on the record. The CD release was effectively the mini LP plus the Baby I Love You So 12" single.
CAD508 had three different versions. The CD, record and cassette release all had different track listings.
