In dental schools, dental students are referred to as "undergrads" and advanced training programs, such as those doing advanced general dentistry or specialties such as periodontics or endodontics are referred to as PGs or "postgraduate students". It's funny to hear it stated this way, I suppose, because there is no dental "gradaute" student (one goes from undergraduate to postgraduate) but that's the way it is.
