The file File:Columbus Lions Helmet Logo 2018.png has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Non-free helmet image whose use fails WP:NFCC#3a and also possibly WP:NFCC#4 and WP:NFCC#10a. There is already a non-free file (File:ColumbusLions.PNG) of the team's logo being used in the main infobox of Columbus Lions for primary identification purposes, so there's no need for another file basically showing the same logo on a helmet to be used per NFCC#3a. In additional, the source cited for this file is a deadlink and no archive versions can be found which show the file actually came from the teams website. The primary logo can be seen at http://www.columbuslions.net/home/, but again no helmet file can be seen there. This means that the helmet file may not be being officially provided by the team itself. This is a problem per NFCC#4 and NFCC#10a since the it's not sure where the file comes from and it might actually be not be content officially provided by the team.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. -- Marchjuly (talk) 06:49, 27 May 2019 (UTC)
