Note regarding the title of this article: With the exception of the two aviation brigades in the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), divisional aviation brigades are not numbered. For all other divisions, the designation is simply "Combat Aviation Brigade" followed by the division designation. In this case, it's "Combat Aviation Brigade, 28th Infantry Division." It is quite common in the Army, however, to refer to units with various "shorthand" designations that are inaccurate.VilePig (talk) 22:03, 7 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
