Aircraft list

edit

We have a non-sourced list of aircraft in this article. In the past it has been a bit of a cruft magnet. Does anyone think it is worth retaining in the article? - Ahunt (talk) 21:04, 19 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Not worth retaining list, but a few aircraft should be mentioned in the History section. DexDor (talk) 06:07, 20 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
That sounds like a good suggestion, perhaps they should be mentioned just in descriptions of actions that they took part in, with refs too, of course! - Ahunt (talk) 11:55, 20 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Unit section

edit

Since there are many special units out there which are capable for CSAR missions, maybe we should rename that list to something like 'Units specialized in CSAR'. What do you all think? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Der rikkk (talkcontribs) 07:31, 20 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

I'd suggest the list be deleted from this article or moved to an article like List of reconnaissance units. Those units that have been involved with notable missions or developments in CSAR techniques etc should be mentioned in other sections of this article (like aircraft etc). DexDor (talk) 20:28, 21 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
I agree, I think that is a good idea. If they are worth mentioning then they should be mentioned in a narrative and not just a bunch of lists. Let's wait a couple of days for more feedback and then I am thinking both lists can go, unless there are objections. - Ahunt (talk) 21:08, 21 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
Okay lacking any objections I'll go ahead and removed them both.- Ahunt (talk) 17:41, 23 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Cyberbot II has detected that page contains external links that have either been globally or locally blacklisted. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed, or are highly innappropriate for Wikipedia. This, however, doesn't necessarily mean it's spam, or not a good link. If the link is a good link, you may wish to request whitelisting by going to the request page for whitelisting. If you feel the link being caught by the blacklist is a false positive, or no longer needed on the blacklist, you may request the regex be removed or altered at the blacklist request page. If the link is blacklisted globally and you feel the above applies you may request to whitelist it using the before mentioned request page, or request its removal, or alteration, at the request page on meta. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.

Below is a list of links that were found on the main page:

Resolved This issue has been resolved, and I have therefore removed the tag, if not already done. No further action is necessary.—cyberbot II NotifyOnline 21:37, 9 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
