What does this mean ??
edit"The class were first to work over the nationalised metals of the BR, on the Standard Gauge, on February 24, 1954 "
nationalised metals ?? of the BR ?? how do narrow gauge engines work the standard gauge ?? Eregli bob (talk) 11:19, 18 December 2008 (UTC)
- The class were sent out with two sets of SG bogies - these were used to test the locos at the back of the BRCW plant prior to them being shipped to Australia - this was how they were also able to travel to Bookaloo and return, on the Standard gauge TAR - will clarify when I review further! thanks for the commentsSulzer55 (talk) 11:31, 18 December 2008 (UTC)
I cannot see any reason to speedily delete this page. There are hundreds of other pages describing classes of railway locomotives.Eregli bob (talk) 11:20, 18 December 2008 (UTC)
- Being overly sensitive - had last version deleted in 30 seconds: Its an interesting that you take a different view too - some of the more pedantic reveiwers seem to delete anything that they wish, or unduly criticise what they want, without reasonable feedback or the chance to reply - Apparently I have labelled one a "delete nazi", but he has deleted my comments from his page, and sent me a narki-gram!
If Wiki wants to grow and engage more, there is a real issue of consistency between reviewers which needs to be addressedSulzer55 (talk) 11:31, 18 December 2008 (UTC)

- To save anyone the trouble of chasing it up -- it's simply a smaller version of an absolutely identical one. Chreers, SCHolar44 (talk) 13:16, 15 June 2020 (UTC)
