Talk:Commutation test

Latest comment: 13 years ago by Bjerke

This page has doubtful quality. First, it starts with "Discussion". That's very unsual since discussion usually is about uncertainties and is placed in the end of article. Second, the discussion has little to with the commutation test at all, but about other semiotic theories that should be exposed elsewhere. Third, there seems to be a tendency to interpret the commutation test within a cognitive framework, whereas it was developed within a structuralist framework. The article should not identify itself with one particular framework, but rather explain how the different approaches uses the commutation test.

I have moved the discussion to the end of the article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bjerke (talkcontribs) 06:05, 21 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

This page represents part of a gentle rolling programme for introducing a slightly more comprehensive treatment of semiotics into the 'pedia. This page is a complex topic. All feedback on whether I have made it sufficiently clear for momtechnical readers would be appreciated. --David91 13:34, 22 Jun 2005 (UTC)
