Name of the company
editThe French name of the company was Compagnie Générale de Chemins de Fer dans la Province de Buenos Aires [1], and the formal Spanish name was Compañia General de Ferrocarriles en la Provincia de Buenos Aires (see Historia Integral Argentina, vol. 5, p. 183; Centro Editor de América Latina, 1971). Not sure all of this matters greatly, for which reason I didn't insert it into the article.
The abbreviation for the company was CGBA (see prior reference), which I have also observed on the ground in BA and Rosario. I see the article used CGBA once and FCGBA twice. I changed the occurances of FCGBA to CGBA, but feel free to revert it if you don't agree.
By the way, the Historia Integral has a great "Genealogía del riel argentino" that I wish could be posted, but it is likely still under copyright. Jim 16:24, 20 July 2007 (UTC)
Hi Jim, Thanks for once again spotting my typos. I did, of course, mean to use CGBA throughout. I must try to get hold of a copy of Historia Integral. David(Talk • Contribs) 20:26, 20 July 2007 (UTC)
