editAs other commentators have mentioned - this page read like an opinion page and should be deleted. As an expert in the field of compassion fatigue, my editing attempts have been blocked by a private user. I worked diligently to correctly define, cite, and add industry specific research specifically on journalists. When "publishing" correct and sourced data, the other user cited a conflict and erased the work.
The novice "authors" have the definition wrong. They are writing their perspective from the lens of "compassion fade" as it pertains to the general population while actively ignoring current data and findings that apply to journalists.
