This article is out of date as at 1 January 2011
editOn that date the Act was renamed (it is now called the Competition and Consumer Act) and rearranged, with large slabs of parts IV and V now forming the "Australian Competition Law" which is Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act. new legislation is here: http://www.comlaw.gov.au/Current/C2004A00109 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 114.76.218.113 (talk) 11:52, 23 January 2011 (UTC)
- I've done a quickie basic fix for this -- changed the whole article to past tense and added that the act has been repealed and replaced (it wasn't just re-named). Now we need new articled on Competition and Consumer Act 2010 and The Australian Consumer Law! --Mkativerata (talk) 18:22, 23 January 2011 (UTC)
- Be careful; legally speaking, the Act was renamed. See Trade Practices Amendment (Australian Consumer Law) Act (No. 2) 2010, Schedule 5, Section 2. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 220.233.44.172 (talk) 01:07, 1 February 2011 (UTC)
Dead Links A number of the links are now dead too, they lead to "page not found" although the main websites them self still exist the information link to, does not. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.123.90.144 (talk) 01:08, 21 April 2011 (UTC)
Renaming
editThis article needs to be moved to the Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2010 page, and turned into a redirection page to that page. Its current title is by definition now out of date. What process needs to be undertaken to do this? Lochok (talk) 05:21, 17 October 2011 (UTC)
