editI feel that this article needs far more detail. I, however, am a student dealing with compositional data and am probably not qualified to do it myself. Gareth

editA link to the page of John Aitchison should be included. Vera —Preceding unsigned comment added by 147.8.26.42 (talk) 01:34, 15 September 2007 (UTC)
removed link
editI removed the link:
mostly because 1) it requires registration to view, 2) after registering, promotes only one commercial software product, 3) has four discussion forum posts in 2+ years, 4) has sections for publications, events, conferences which are empty, containing no postings. In short, this site has fails to provide any usable information at all. linas (talk) 22:38, 10 July 2009 (UTC)
I would like to have included formula included for calculating alr, clr, ilr and the Aitchison distance, perhaps with examples. Philip B — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hampshireoak (talk • contribs) 13:00, 8 March 2012 (UTC)
Merge to Aitchison geometry or simplex?
editThis article seems to be almost entirely contained in the article Aitchison geometry. But this article also just describes an application of studying a simplex where some data lies on a simplex. There doesn't seem to be any actual content to this article. — MarkH21 (talk) 06:16, 12 March 2019 (UTC)
