Notability
editUser:DGG as you accepted this article on 3 March 2020, could you explain how notability was demonstrated? I am asking because I have been discussing the notability of Draft:ETOPIA, which is about another ESF project, with its author. The references for this article don't seem to be independent, apart from references to three books without page numbers. The books seem to be on related science topics and two of them were published before the project started in 2018, so it seems unlikely that they discuss the project. - TSventon. You maywell be right--it's very difficult to determine the notability of research projects and research centers under our rules. Normally the papers published are considered to demonstrate the notability of the individual scientists, and are not considered usable for the institution. I think we need a better way of handling these, pprobably by combination articles. I'll see whether I can find a merge. DGG ( talk ) 03:56, 21 May 2021 (UTC)
- DGG thank you for your response. I would be interested to see if you find a "better way", but feel free to leave the question open if it seems too time consuming. TSventon (talk) 12:46, 21 May 2021 (UTC)
