editMy sentence about difference of "Computerra" from other computer magazines is very raw and should be reworked. Geevee 09:30, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
Cover Photo
editWhat is the need of reuploading the cover photo? It's changing every week, you know... --Yuriy Lapitskiy 12:23, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
- At least, it's not harmful. New uploaded cover is HiRes-image and I decided that it will be more useful for Wikipedia, won't it? Geevee (talk|contribs) 20:23, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, sure it's not harmful :) But you mentioned HiRes and thus I've got one more question. The licence section of the photo reads - "It is believed that the use of low-resolution images of magazine covers
- * to illustrate the publication of the issue of the magazine in question,
- * with the publication name either visible on the image itself or written in the image description above."
- It's probably wrong to upload high-resolution photo as "fair use", though it's not harmful either. --Yuriy Lapitskiy 20:42, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
- Just to avoid misunderstanding and close the discussion: current image is free, because permission is obtained from the author via OTRS. Ilya Voyager (talk) 16:15, 14 July 2008 (UTC)
