Article Context

edit

I have expanded the article and have added a bit more context to it by explaining the scheme more clearly in the introduction, as well as explaining what types of computers have been available through Tesco's annual Computers for Schools scheme. If anyone else can add any further improvements, please feel free to play around with what I've written. Andrew 00:19, 26 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

For sure they have been doing it for pretty several years in Poland too. I can't say about other countries 85.221.218.188 01:22, 22 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

@Voice of Clam: Thanks for taking a look at this, but I was wondering if you could clarify what the additional "likely targets" you mention are. There are definitely two topics worth listing (the notable Canadian scheme and the Tesco scheme), but I can't see any reason to believe that the other two articles linked are ever known by this name, which is the inclusion criterion for disambiguation pages – they aren't for listing related topics or partial title matches. As such I'm still of the view that this can be safely deleted and the Computers for Schools (Canada) moved to this location. – Arms & Hearts (talk) 18:07, 14 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

I've added a couple more possible targets - remember that not everyone searching for the words "computers for schools" is looking for a specific organisation. I would also dispute that Canada is the lead subject here - it only gets a very small number of page hits per day (a similar level to Computers for African Schools). Tesco obviously gets far more, but it's not possible to determine how many of those views are looking at the linked section. Voice of Clam 18:50, 14 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
