edit- Based on accurate topography measures of height at different points in these craters and calculations of how deep the craters should be based on their diameters, it is thought that the craters are 80% filled with mostly ice.
I think this means: "Craters of similar diameter elsewhere are five times deeper, and it is thought that the difference consists mostly of ice." Or does it mean that the crater floors (to an unspecified depth) consist of four parts ice to one part rock? How would you tell that from measures of height?
