Unnamed discussion

Although this article provides clear and basic summary of Conditional Cash Transfer programs, I feel that it should be updated. A few of the existing programs mentioned have actually been terminated, and a section regarding the causes of their termination should be added. Furthermore, an extended version should include a section regarding the drawbacks of the programs, since only their benefits are currently being addressed. Loretteb (talk) 23:14, 31 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

I agree with Loretteb, and also feel that an addition of a section called Conditional Cash Transfers in Africa could be added to compliment Conditional Cash Transfers in Latin America, since CCT's are an expanding idea that are being implemented by more than just Latin American countries. This section could be well cited by articles such as the UNDP paper “Conditional Cash Transfers in African Countries” and an International Food Policy research Institute presentation on Cash transfers in Africa. In addition, I would like to add a portion to the Latin America section that discusses CCT programs in Argentina, citing the research of Constanza Tabbush in her article “Gender, Citizenship and New Approaches to Poverty Relief: Conditional Cash Transfer Programmes in Argentina.” Overall, I feel CCT programs will only improve with in depth reviews of the examples currently in place, which is why this site should be updated with the situations of previous examples, as Loretteb stated, and also continuously updated with new examples.Sbh2 (talk) 03:47, 1 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Conditional Cash TransferConditional cash transfer – Lower case per MOS:CAPS, as there's so suggestion in sources that this is treated a proper name. Dicklyon (talk) 20:46, 15 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
