Talk:ConfDesigner

The first sentence says "ConfDesigner is a graphical environment written in Java, which eases the design of complex system configurations." Can you design complex system configurations for, say, model railroad layouts, or NASCAR suspension setups? Or does this system only work for certain complex systems?

I just downloaded and installed this ConfDesigner in an attempt to use it to configure Sphinx4. It's rather atrocious that this ConfDesigner has a Wikipedia entry. It has no documentation of any kind, is completely orphaned by the project. It never reached a level of utility that any one has ever been able to use it for anything. A google query for ConfDesigner sphinx returns around 12 results many of witch are not actual pages.

In short, someone started a project to do something helpful but completely bailed on it after a short while. For some strange reason this dangling bit of a-functional code has a Wikipedia page.
