article relations

Since this asrarticle seems to deal almost exclusively with the DRC, I would suggest that it be more closely associated with the article Mining industry of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and maybe even form the basis of a conflict mineral article specific to the DRC. - BanyanTree 14:57, 30 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

The DRC is effectively an ancillary issue. The article needs more explicit info on compliance requirements. To be useful, needs section on reporting, traceability, data exchange formats, etc.

If you want to discuss social issues and problems in the DRC, which are not irrelevant, construct an article for that purpose, but do not label it as information 'Conflict Materials' legislation. — Preceding unsigned comment added by SafetyEngineer (talkcontribs) 18:10, 6 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Gold ore or gold

edit

Isn't gold an element and gold ore the mineral? In this case we should refer to the conflict mineral as the ore and not the refined elements of it.--Canoe1967 (talk) 16:10, 29 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

I guess so, if we're being precise. -- Beland (talk) 00:39, 25 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
