I think not enough attention is paid in the article to the domain of conservatorship in the United States, especially versus guardianship. In my experience federal law has little to do with conservatorship. And another point in Michigan the terms guardianship and conservatorship are respectively reserved in state statute to the specific responsiblities of estate and person, ie the guardian manages only matters of the person and the conservator manages only issues of the estate.
