"contact manager" is in the see also category but it just links back to this page for contact management systems. I made the change.220.241.22.5 (talk)
The style is not really appropriate. Less sales talk more content! -194.252.5.66 (talk) 14:16, 2 June 2010 (UTC)

editAdditions such as "Companies all around the world are beginning to see the benefit of such a solution as it saves them time and money" or "It was once thought that cell phones would be able to offer a Contact Management System by linking the users cell phone information with their office database, but this is proving to be more and more difficult" are silly adcopy. Following it up with a list of external link "examples" is unacceptable. Please do not add any more material to this article that is not carefully sourced and neutrally worded; this is an encyclopedia, not PRLINE. Kuru (talk) 17:58, 16 July 2010 (UTC)
- This is getting silly, please stop adding promotional material and links. We need reliable sources independent of your product, please. Kuru (talk) 01:06, 17 July 2010 (UTC)
SEE ALSO ??
editSome of the "See also"s are not closely enough related to warrant their inclusion IMO.
For examples:
- "Mystery Shopping"
- "The International Customer Service Institute"
- "Predictive analytics"
In fact, I suspect most of the "see also"s do not belong here.
What would be useful here
editIt would be useful to have a link to a detailed list of features of contact management systems (CMS's) and a table comparing various CMS's in regard to which features they have. (I'm not suggesting this as a Wikipedia article but as a link to a list outside Wikipedia.) Thanks, Wanderer57 (talk) 21:45, 25 August 2012 (UTC)
