Talk:Copacabana

Main topic is the Rio beach

edit

I propose that Copacabana (Rio de Janeiro) is the primary meaning, and so it should be Copacabana (this now a dab page). Good hatnote to be added ("For other meanings ..."). -DePiep (talk) 22:08, 26 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Etymology?

edit

As is well-known, Rio's locality and several other places were named after Copacabana, Bolivia and its Virgen de Copacabana. And most uses in English derive from Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro. I think such information should be offered somewhere within this entry. Nawabaonbake (talk) 00:33, 22 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
