In my opinion, this article could be improved by adding a map of interwar Europe with the "cordon sanitaire" countries highlighted. From researching how this term is used in books, I think this should include Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Czechoslovakia, Romania, Yugoslavia.
